Some words
Around a year ago I saw the announcement of this game built on Hive.
A lot of Fud comes after it.
Typical on hive.
But that's in general good because it protects the community against scams.
The other side of the coin is, that projects earn no support, something to think about.
Anyway some words about the game
I researched it and liked the concept. The team is building and sends always updates to the founders + holds everything that was announced so far ( like Marketplace and so on).
This is exactly what I see on hive in the future.
Social is cool, but more for simple communication now.
Gaming and NFTs are something that could scale and later convert into social IMO. Also, I see Gaming as the only way to sell premium wallets.
Also, gaming is viral and cool!
At some point in the next months (probably the end of the year), Founders will be allowed to early access the game.
Something Huge IMO.
As you can see in the videos from above, there is some work done already.
Very interesting time, cant wait to test it :)
Let's see what it's like after the smoke has settled. It's tough to build an online ego shooter. I'd love to deliver some Headshots doh.
From what I have seen it looks solid. I m happy as long something playable comes out because a game like this will always need finetuning IMO.
Also, the affiliate/referral program can be something interesting :)
Genesis NFTs can be huge of course, for sure that'll be deep into 2023

Trailer before they switch to engine. I mean IMO was worth and Fortnite is also build on unreal engine, so i think that brings a lot of advantages :)
You can use Unreal, but after that, you can't publish without them as far as I read into it.

I am not a programmer but it takes a lot of time, talent and tedium to make a competent, let alone successful, multiplayer FPS and I know that from an old gamer perspective and big gaming history nerd.
SO many studios come and go in the AAA, AA and indie crowd it's really shocking and humbling to look at a body count list of ex-studios who once were.
Nexuiz was a great game that's still available on steam and is also made with unreal engine. It got uploaded to sourceforge years ago and is COMPLETELY worth a look into by anyone who calls themselves a FPS hardcore gamer.

I have talked with some people from PsyberX here on Hive I think and they seem genuine about their goals of making psyberxx a good blockchain fps that isn't a scam-grinder.
If they can pull it off, and stay humble and grounded to their gaming roots, then I will forever Kneel to them and so many more important people than me with deep pockets will kneel to them.
If it's not an honest effort, it will hurt people who believe in crypto and gaming and in Hive.
The only other group of devs I know of personally trying to do someething similiar is Vidya but I've waited literally years for that at this point and never seen anything from it other than some slick website and a gigantic whitepaper that goes way over my head and doesnt even talk about the games they said they were making (aimbots) https://team3d.io/multipass/MultiPass_User_Manual.pdf
Just wanna game and earn in an fps that's fun...don't even need to earn a lot a day, just want it to be good and smart.
