My dog , my life

I have had 14 dogs in my life, many of them very long-lived, I confess that I love them, the experience I have had has been so gratifying that I consider I have some experience to be able to write about the particular meaning of love in dogs. On the other hand, if we observe them well, they teach us great things, which we humans should put into practice more often.

Dogs really require little to be happy; With a caress, a place to sleep, food, and especially our love, they fully enjoy what life gives them. We humans often forget this. We always complain about what we lack, without giving thanks for what we have, the gratitude they have is perceived in a greater proportion in rescued dogs, they seem to say thanks for everything at every moment.

Educated dogs learn to wait patiently for everything: their humans, food, the walk, without causing drama or fuss, they know that what they expect will come and they await it with pleasure, optimism and especially patiently. Humans get stressed, we love immediacy, we get frustrated if what is expected does not come and we even create an emotional problem for it.

A dog never loses the ability to play and have fun, when you invite him to have fun he wants to, he has a highly developed adventurous spirit and they like to go to new places, when we grow up we leave behind that child that we were and we get very complicated and we laugh a little, the dogs wag their tails if you arrive, some even do impressive pirouettes just for the joy of seeing you.
