I have been watching Wiseguy for the last month. I started in early April and by the end of the month was nearly on to Season 2. Villians have come and gone, and Vincent Terranova has been through a lot. Kevin Spacey, gone. Sonny the mobster, gone. His Mom married the head of the italian mafia, and left him too. This show has been a real ride, they don't write shows like this anymore. It has been real, it has been raw, and there have even been one or two episodes I skipped through. Yet I persist, and have made it all the way to season 3, yet another mission to a small cult town in Washington.

Vinnie is undercover as a truck driver, Vincent Kovak, and he stops at a diner only to have the bank reposess his big rig. He tries to fight them off with a bat, one pulls out a gun, but the local sheriff shows up and arrests everyone. He loses his truck, but when the Sheriff runs his ID it gives him a number to call, allegedly to another sheriff. Unknowingly, he is connected with Vinnie's handler who pretends to be the sheriff and sets up his cover story-- that he was a cop, a bit of a hard hand- and that gives him an in to become the new deputy sheriff in this small town.

The story escalates from here, we soon learn that this rich guy basically owns the town and the police, and he has an obsession with an old weird film that he watches in his mansion by himself, in a livingroom where his fog machine fills the room. It only gets weirder from here,

In the next episode we find out that he and the pastor are running a fight club every sunday night as an initiation for who gets to be the next sheriff. Additionally, the pretty girls in town are all made to work in the Brothel, called the Caddilac Club, because the Boss buys the girls all their own caddilacs.

Episode 18 also reintroduces a character from last season, who worked for the CIA undercover, the one with vietnam flashbacks who decided not to kill Vincent. Two undercover agents working Kevin Spacey's character Mel Profitt from different angles.

Anyhow, the reason for this post, in addition to catching you up with my marathon, is that I was curious about this film that the current Villian character was watching. It actually does exist,

And I found it on YouTube!
