13 days ago I started watching this old TV show starring Ken Wahl & Jonathan Banks.

"Wiseguy originally starred Ken Wahl as Vinnie Terranova, a Brooklyn native and Fordham University graduate who was a deep cover operative for the FBI under the supervision of senior agent Frank McPike, played by Jonathan Banks. The primary cast was rounded out by Jim Byrnes, who played an information operative known as Lifeguard who assisted Vinnie in the field."

Kevin Spacey as Mel Profitt lost a billion dollars of assets and he had a mental breakdown,

strangled the ceo and almost threw him off a balcony. The main character Vinnie (undercover) then has to make a deal with a new york mob, to get Kevin Spacey new business. Unfortunately he new deal went sideways and the new york guys threaten Vincent's mother. They were about to kidnap her,

But Vincent Terranova arrives and tackles him to
the ground as they were about to get his Mom.

Then Vincent starts punching him in the face, just
smashing him and his moms like "NO VINCENT NOOOO",

She knew he was dealing with criminals, but here she is thinking 'oh no vincent is hurt', but then suddenly her son is just destroying this guy and blood is everywhere and shes screaming STOP

Its this really raw and brutal moment seeing
him out of control, which doesn't happen often.

So now she's upset and thinks Vincent has
become as 'ugly' as the bad guys he is fighting.

This show is more real than 100% of the shows made today.

The Mob guy has more honour, he apologizes to Vincent.

Roger, the other bodyguard for Kevin Spacey is also undercover, but his boss wants Vincent killed.

However when he was in the elevator some soldiers wearing their medals of honour walked in

so Roger has flashbacks of vietnam

and his own medal of honour,

so he put the knife away and decided he isn't going to follow those orders. Its like there is an actual plot with character development; something severely lacking in todays media productions. All of these characters have depth, which is enjoyable to watch.
