This past week the price has been a little higher, but is still sideways.

This may be a good time to buy BTC if you want more. Should you buy with the risk it can drop? Is that risk greater than the risk the price will be higher a year from now? This is a choice we must make. I am saving what I can this summer, and plan to buy in late August. It seems to be that BTC often rises in September and October, although not always the case.

BTC Market Cap Dominance is 56.02%, down from 56.3% 3 days ago.

30 day change, shows BTC down -2.4% but ETH up +5.7%,
XRP down -6.8% but Solana up +11.8%, HYPE up +8.2%,
but DOGE down -18.2%, RAIN up +10.4% and ZEC up +23%.

I think that we are in a good buy zone, it can go up, it can go down. It might go sideways for a while. One thing I know for sure is that I don't have enough Bitcoin. If it rises in 2027, I will wish I had bought more.

Will you buy more BTC in July 2026?

This is not financial advice, just observations over time.

Thank you for your comment!
I like to use the simple bitcoin ticker at

However the countdown to the next halving Stock To Flow reveals a consistent pattern we can all be aware of. Patterns don't always repeat but they do rhyme at times.

Sometimes I see articles where speakers suggest that the 4 year cycle does not matter anymore, but I disagree, it is a fundamental feature of Bitcoin. The halving removes half the rewards per block from miners who run the network, so the difficulty and price adjustments inevitably take place.
