Humans "judge" by what is apparent. This is the rational thing to do. Our generation is just a master in the art of gaslighting. We are good at turning admonitions into guilt.
If you're caught stealing, it is correct yo call you a thief. If you're caught cheating on your spouse, the right thing would be to call you a cheat. Only you can understand the nuances, but we'll judge by what's apparent.

That’s right. And this is why it is good to always tell ourselves the truth and know when other’s judgement on us is correct and try to make amends. Or when it’s wrong, stand up to clear out those doubts.
