Do the young ones have the firecracker traditions like they do in Mexico and Central America? Christmases are explosive there.

There are fireworks here too, but since it's the first time I'll be spending the New Year's holidays in the city where I'm living now, I don't know if there will be anything like that. Maybe yes, but with less intensity.
