On the Morning of February 26, 2025, I woke up with a heavy feeling. My shoulder aches, my back aches plus my head spins a bit. I woke up from a 4-hour sleep. I've been like this again for quite sometime now since it's February. The month is shortened meaning I have to double work.

Well, I got up from bed, woke my 1st born and took a bath with her. It was that time again where I can report to her school.

After preparing, we went to sir Juvani for the hair ties (he keeps a lot) and tied my hair in a messy pony tail.

We arrived at school at around 7:48.

After sometime, I remembered that I need to pay my Boss' Fidelity Bond. Its something you do to keep the school's money safe and bonded (whatever that means)

I quickly grabbed my laptop and printed out the documents I'd be needing, called my husband if he's available so he can fetch and accompany me going to Baguio and he said YES.

It was around 10:40 when he fetched me and from our estimation, it would be lunch before we arrive at the bank. So while on our way, I searched for food stalls or restaurants.

I was following this one couple and decided to check their page for any recommendations and boy, I did the right thing! I saw their post on Dang' BBQ. It a 10 min. ride away to our destination and so, we stopped over.

Dangs BBQ

for those who travels to Baguio City, it can be searched through google Map. Just a bit further on the opposite of Craft Brewery.

So this is their Menu. Actually, I took that pic after we ate coz when we arrived, we hurriedly took our choice of Barbeques and placed it in line.
So this is how you eat there.

  1. Select your bbq.
  2. Pay at the counter and give your bbqs.
  3. Wait for your name to be called.
  4. While waiting, grab your spoon or gloves
  5. You can make your own sauce or just use their own vinegar.
  6. Observe "Clean as You Go" policy

I was drooling at this point and so I want my bbqs to be cooked ASAP.

And so, After a while, our orders came.

yummy

Just look at that. We paid ₱490.00 only and had 3 rice. We just added ₱50.00 for our drinks. We sure enjoyed the food! We were full!

After filling our tummy, we continued to our main destination...LANDBANK,..after a few minutes, my transaction was done. Happy and satisfied with how fast my transaction was.

Tan-aw

As we travelled back, I remembered Tan-aw- one of the tourist go-to café along Marcos Highway.

We then decided to go to experience the place and their famous coffee.

enjoying our coffee and bread

The place was stunning but sadly, there's an ongoing construction nearby and the noise destroys the mood.
Here are the pics we took during our stay there:

We really enjoyed the view

Here's a little tip when going there:
Their coffee has 3 sizes.

  1. Bassit (small)
  2. Dakkel(big)
  3. Dakdakkel(bigger)

they also serve pasta and some bread ❤️

I should also mention how I was amazed by their comfort room!
Look how their comfort room looks like!

And that's it...our little escape. He then returned me to the school where I came from 🤣.

Thank you for being with us! Make sure to visit those places when visiting Benguet or Baguio!
