It was a good thing to find out that I could get the safety, commitment and trust I needed, from my family and closest friends.

A well written post, dear. You know, this is one thing that has kept me alive and moving - knowing I have family and some few trusted friends to keep me going. I was also desperate some months back to be in a relationship but during the process, I allowed even the wrong ones to tamper with my feelings and emotions but now, I learnt my lessons and I am good now.

Not desperate anymore. Yes, we might feel lonely at some point, we should be careful and mindful of who we allow. I like the word you use - you are in my life only because I permit you. So, let's keep enjoying this moment and believe me, when we aren't even looking for love, it will find us.
