Well, you asked for some feedback... Why on Hive? What's my focus? A bit of both, the earning potential, sure, but definitely the community feeling. I think the first made me look at Hive, the second made me stay at Hive (well, Steem back in the days to be honest).
Same thing for the Hive-Engine ecosystems, some I stake for the earnings, some I buy and stake to support the community, some I put in the liquidity pools to add liquidity for them. Which ones go where? Well, it does depend a lot on what is behind them. For instance, for EDSI, the whole idea is to become an earning system. For ALIVE, it is more the community feeling that is behind the token..

Awesome reply! I have a feeling this is a sentiment shared by most on Hive, we start off coming for the money and stay for the community! It would be awesome to get people coming for the community and staying for the money one day!
Any particular reason that you chose to Stake Alive, for example? The community building is fantastic, I know there are many who are !ALIVE and thriving here on Hive already, is there a particular aspect you enjoy or look for?
We're always looking for more ways to increase our buzz and create more buzz for the community, one slothly step at a time.

Well.... To be honest, I didn't chose ALIVE, ALIVE choose me :-D When they're tipping bot went down last year, I stepped in and helped them (after learning Hive Botness by fixing the BBH bot, and creating our own bots).
What I do appreciate about the ALIVE community is that the community (albeit being around the "thriving" part) is a lot about that community feeling.
But there are many and many interesting communities on Hive, all with their own merits. The Visualshots community is also one with a tipping bot (also down at the moment I believe) and their own token, yet the communities goal and focus is photography. I love it like that!
