RE: No Russian gas imports to Austria any more after almost 70 years of reliable delivery

It is interesting that people in most countries think that everything is most expensive in their country. We in the Czech Republic think so too.

The stoppage of supply will cause a bit of panic and this will lead to a slight increase in prices. But there is plenty of gas in the world, and the war in Ukraine is now in its third year, so alternative routes have been built to distribute it. That's why pretty much nothing happens.
