In my opinion, the basic human need is to have a job and peace and family, children and hobbies. The present time brings with it an incredible amount of stress and this is not good especially for psychological health. But everyone probably sees it a little differently
People were really only interested in what was happening in their own communities rather than worrying about what was happening in Abu Dhabi or some far off place.
I want the government afraid of me. While the covid tyranny was unforgivably evil, it did serve to reveal to me which of my neighbors would turn me in to the Gestapo. I also learned who I want on my team at all times. !BBH
