Okay, I'm getting a clearer picture of how this works at the moment. Twitter is easier to master than the rest of them, and I'm quite impressed at how it all works -- it's an interesting dynamic.
So basically small accounts (me, for example) will comment on big accounts and get impressions, and the big accounts will rake in the engagement from all the little accounts.
It's like a perfect match -- and the algorithm seems to favour positive comments, rather than negative ones.
It's really interesting, but even if I can convince a few hiveans to match what I'm doing then by six months to a year some of us will have super-accounts and an engaged audience willing to comment and share.
It has to be natural though, no buying that stuff. The only thing you should be buying is a twitter premium subscription to get you started -- which should pay its own way in 6 months - year if we are being honest with ourselves.
Well, it's fairly simple really. Comment on huge accounts (the earlier, the better), try and make 50 posts per day, and you'll see growth like nothing else.
Those impressions will get me at least a few followers. And that's just one post. Trust that followers will look at your profile and judge if they want to follow what they see or not.
Not every post will be as successful as this though, some of my posts today have only seen like 50 impressions, some 10. But if you comment at least 50 times on successful accounts then you will see at least one post do well.
Also, the posts need to be thoughtful and and not just "lol" because no-one is going to be interested in that. Think that people are interested in what others have to say -- that's why they read the comments section. Treat it that way.
So why do this? Am I not a crypto account? Should I not be commenting on crypto stuff? Well for starters crypto content is very insular and project centric -- there's not much you can add to the wider discussion unless you know deeply about the projects themselves. Crypto by nature is very insular and siloed.
Well, the aim is to grow the account big enough to where people outside of hive will start listening to us. That's the plan. Sharing right now is good, and it shows intention, however I don't expect much traction at the beginning. How many 1k follower accounts do you listen to?
Right?
Right.
So give me a good 6 months and we'll not only have monetized our twitter, but we'll have a sizeable account where we can send people places, and in large quantities too. That's the aim. For now we'll just comment like maniacs and share our crypto posts on our profile.
But that will compound.
When I have 2000 followers that will be x2 the traction -- and so on. And that will compound from there.
I suggest you do it this way if it's something you're interested in being -- an actual proper influencer for hive that people listen to.
Anyway, Peace for now!
It's also a good idea to put your @inleo referral in your twitter profile. When i was trying the same path earlier in the year it led to a lot of sign ups to the inleo app from people visiting my profile after reading my comments on X.
32 referrals so far just from my twitter bio.
