Ah, the age old question right? How to create value when there is none -- You should check out my last post on that.
A question I get regularly is,
"Why is BRO so overpriced?"
I mean realistically if you look at the assets take I did a few weeks ago then technically we should be trading at not much hive at all.
Then of course there is our voter brofi which throws a curious element into the mix -- holders that hold BRO get quite a bang for their buck.
But then technically people should really be gravitating towards where you get more bang for your bucks. Holding BRO, LGN, or any of our tokens for that matter -- there is better elsewhere, I wont deny that.
Why do people reach Dragon and rarely sell out? We've retained 90% of our Dragons since they became them.
Hardly anyone has sold.
Same with Centurions, the ones who bought back in the beginning and now rarely sell off -- because there's always plenty of liquidity on the market to sell if you need to.
@opidia our biggest LGN holder is still buying the dip.
If you were to run the numbers then statistically by all rights, people should gravitate to what projects gives them all the money.
But that's where a lot of token owners go wrong in crypto -- I've seen good solid projects die in the past even when the foundation is pretty damn solid.
They just focus on the numbers.
The numbers are great and all but numbers don't drive emotions, and emotions drive people, and people drive communities, and communities drive token price.
A good token has solid fundamentals but also a great community.
Look at Doge as a prime example. Does literally nothing but exist. Great community. Has made epic millionaires.
I didn't just fall on my feet with the BRO community, I spent years turning up daily and showing up, even when at times I really should be taking a break or having some fun.
I was there when my community needed me, and in turn my community was there (and still is) when I need them.
The relationship is symbiotic and bidirectional. I give to my community and my community gives to me.
We have too many coders in this industry; we need more dreamers. People that can say - I can and I will, rather than err, that's statistically not viable because of the logic.
Too many staticians, analysts, numbers guys.
You can be a dreamer and love code too though, don't get me wrong. Some of the best coders I've ever worked with have dared to dream.
Elon Musk a great example. He said a few years ago we'll colonize Mars, and well, I must admit at the time I thought he was dreaming a little too hard -- and yet, well, here we are. He tells us we'll be ready in 5 years.
But then that goes back to the age old question again?
How does one create value?
Get a bunch of likeminded people together and co-ordinate on a few things. Perhaps your love of cats is what drives you towards cat communities.
You don't need to be a core team member either, you could literally just produce and enjoy it for the satisfaction in the community you are in.
Maybe eventually you all get the stones to try making a token?
I mean it already has value; there's already a ton of you doing the same thing to achieve some sort of shared goals or desired ones?
Hive has been bloody great at creating communities -- in fact out of all the crypto I've ever witnessed hive is one of the best community creators around. There's much to see and do here, and lots to get involved with for the bigger picture.
If you want my advice for the coming season it will be join a community and shares some goals with your fellow neighbour. Enjoy it, because this season is going to be absolutely wild!
Peace :)
Communities and the function of this idea can create something bigger and better then people expect :)
Well said. !BBH
Musk said 2026 on MARS and fully on for 2030 where he wants to bring 1M people because almost everyone will be dead on earth.
i agree, communities is the most important, it is the glue holding the project together and HIVE will change course and become greater.
a lot of people put enough efforts into it and with AI new generation, the push will be real.
The sense of belongingness fuels crypto and mostly meme coins.
