I've been quiet as of late.

I've been busy devising the most advanced tokenomics system that hive has seen to date. And, I'm no coder!

But, I wanted to do this so I put my head down for a week, got comfortable with hive api's, my janky old knowledge with coding and a healthy amount of prompting AI.

And we're done.

I knew the maths, and what exactly I wanted to do with this, it was just getting it all in a system that worked together.

But today, at around 2am, I finally managed it. Sent out a test amount of a 10 Hive pool and it went successfully.

So we all earn tomorrow.

I guess you're all wondering now:

What the actual hell is this damn Pyresoul?

I called it Pyresoul because it is the life force of the flame. The Flame is our writers community here which has a barrier to entry. People that want to be scribes must pass through me first.

Basically to submit to this community you must love writing, and you are strictly prohibited from using AI in any way shape or form.

I won't allow junk posts either.

I get authors to do this by writing posts about their lives; thoughts and memories and regrets and laughter -- you know? Things AI just can't quite mimic properly just yet.

And yes, I can spot AI usage a mile away and I'm good at it. I'm a human AI detector haha.

Anyway, authors that post to The Flame give us a 10% attribution from their rewards to grow our project.

We take 50% of that 10% attribution and feed it to pyresoul (symbolically the life force of the flame).

Pyresoul is then distributes to people that act in a positive way to our projects. Think of it like this:

If you buy our tokens (or hold any) - you earn pyresoul
If you delegate to our projects so that we can feed the flame - You earn pyresoul
If you interact with us on discord - You earn pyresoul
If you post on The Flame - You earn pyresoul.

The more Pyresoul your account has, the more Hive it will earn daily.

Pyresoul isn't a token though, it's more like a "soul weight" in our projects. So it can only be given or taken away. It can't be bought, traded, or sold, or even transferred.

Think of it like your soul. You have it, you know it's there, it's always judging you -- but you can never see it or interact with it.

Can I see the maths?

In short, no.

Sorry, I spent months on this theory -- I'm not just giving it away so people can look at it and gamify their experience, or easily replicate their own system.

You gotta do the work bro!

I've also put several checks and balances in place -- so snapshots will happen regularly throughout the day, and a random snapshot of that day will be chosen to use.

There are so many reputational weights to your pyresoul balance.. you could try working it out, but good luck! Haha.

Although in saying that I bet @themarkymark will have this pinned down in 2 seconds flat. So I shouldn't encourage you lot!

In short?

Act postively towards us? Delegate / Hold tokens / Active in Discord / Flame post? Great earn more hive 👍

Act negatively towards us? Disengage / undelegate / sell tokens / leave Discord? Sorry, less hive daily 😔
