Announcing: The Flame
As I said yesterday I am going to lead by example.
Be the change you wish to see in this world. So I am doing exactly that.
Today I announce The Flame:

This will be a community of authors that I pre-select. You cannot write directly on The Flame, you can only be invited to do so -- however anyone can read should they wish to.
To submit to the Flame authors will need to offer a sacrifice. A sacrifice to The Flame. An offering of themselves, a piece of their being they wish to share with the world.
It's not for filler posts, or half-hearted posts, or even dopamine filled-crypto posts, it's for feeling, mind and soul.
I have been asked by my other scribes if it's only for poetry, and no, authors have their own way, their own frequency, their own energy that they bring to the table -- and if it's an offering of themselves then they are freely allowed to share it, whether it's in writing, poetry or interpretive dance.
If it's art, and makes people feel -- then it's allowed.
If you are selected for The Flame to be a scribe then it will be a great position of respect in our discord for the future.
We will start off small, unnoticed, maybe even for a while. But that will change eventually. You have to trust the process and momentum I'm building.
Great things that last time aren't built in a week -- they take months, perhaps even years to build. Think of me as laying the foundational pieces around my community and infrastructure for the future.
This is only the beginning, a small tiny fraction of the piece of the puzzle of what's to come.
This is the beginning stage of our development.
Bringing life and meaning back to hive; a home where some of the best authors around here come together to discuss art.
We will do it not for rewards nor money, but just the feeling of creating good art again.
This is the way.
I do remember, back on our legacy chain, how part of what made me excited about the community's earliest day was this idea of it being "The Internet of Human Stories." A repository of people, not just of information.
Of course, history shows that things took a different direction. But still, it's good to hope that some are still on track with the idea.
This is what I like about shared resonance -- build things for the right people and they come.
