one thing i knew exists but had no idea how much are bots and fake accounts. never really cared to check until the shit show in my country started and 70% of my feed moved to my language. in last few months i muted hundreds of accounts, and all of them i took time to check.
And at some point in the past i did find a way to get impressions, even some engagement but never followers growth. and most of the interaction on those "viral" posts is just tiering. Makes sense if you push a product, but for social media, where the point is on social... hard to remember a decent conversation :D
Well, I've never understood why people on hive wouldn't want this type of reach -- the main aim of a blog is to get it seen by as many people as possible, right? At least that was my aim when I had a blog, anyway.
Most of that requires thrusting yourself in front of people.
Harder to do in this day though, especially when your product is web3 and everyone is scared of it. That's why the subtle approach is required.
Unless of course you have an easily sellable product, like you are the CEO of Eth or some crazy shit lol.
one problem with X is it really hates outside links, posts with outside links are almost invisible. and another is, X is not that fun of crypto. except scam ads :D
I never used reddit, but i seen some interesting results on Hive posts there.
