There has been a shortage of chocolate supply everywhere due to lower harvest yields. Cocoa only grows in specific tropical conditions, and there have been problems with the weather so the prices everywhere have really gone up, and I have seen news about companies bulking them with milk solids or fats or sugar to keep the cost down.
