I can understand the situation. I know they can say they may adopt a child and are not planning to give birth to a child on their own. Sounds logical, but not a sustainable plan because I think those are like fake plans in my eyes as they just say so to console themselves. So, I think it was also good what happened with your friend also even if it was bad for her for a temporary time.
