Yeah, that phrase "I told you so" can also be harmless when it's coming from when you actually say it out of concern and love, just like in your case. And, I don't blame you at all for pointing it out after everything you said would happen happened. Sometimes it's not even about being right but hoping the other person sees the lesson clearly
