After almost two months off work following a workplace accident, I finally had to return to work. Waking up at 5:45 a.m. was particularly difficult… It seems my body has not completely forgotten the comfort of resting, and getting up so early after such a long break was not easy at all.
Despite that, the day went fairly well overall. My shoulder has still not fully recovered, and I continue to feel some pain, especially after several hours of activity. Unfortunately, I was unable to get an appointment with a specialist any sooner than two weeks from now. That is when we will be able to properly assess the situation and determine whether I should continue working or go back on sick leave to avoid a possible relapse.
In the meantime, I still wanted to show good faith and demonstrate that I was ready to return to work, but without pushing myself unnecessarily. I therefore worked at a much slower pace than usual and took more breaks to rest my shoulder and prevent the pain from getting worse. Even though I was working more slowly, I still managed to complete my entire task list.
I would also like to point out that my boss was very understanding from the moment I arrived. He immediately told me:
“Take it easy. Don’t cause yourself a relapse that lasts another two years. I would rather you do less, but do it properly, than hurt yourself again. And if things really don’t go well, we can bring in a temporary worker paid for by the insurance company to help you. I have plenty of CVs from people looking for work.”
Honestly, it is reassuring to hear that kind of reaction. It shows that he would rather protect my health than push me beyond my limits. On my side, I will try to remain reasonable, listen to my body, and avoid doing too much too quickly. A return to work needs to be gradual, especially after an accident and such a long period of sick leave.
As you have probably noticed, while I was away, the curation bot continued doing its job quietly. It operates autonomously and continues casting votes throughout the day.
According to its report, it stopped today between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. in order to recharge its “voting mana.” This pause allowed it to recover enough voting power to continue operating properly.
At the time of writing this post, the bot has already cast approximately 260 votes. It is currently preparing its next reward list, which should be sent within the next hour or two to everyone who received one of its votes at 3.5%.
Each recipient will therefore receive a small reward of 0.0003 GLYPH. It may not be a huge amount individually, but over time, these small distributions are a way of thanking the users supported by the bot and helping the token circulate within the community.

Other than that, what else can I tell you? I would simply like to remind you that there are still three delegation exchange offers available on Hive-Engine.
These offers allow users to exchange HP delegation for BEE. As you can see in the screenshot, there are still a few opportunities available for anyone interested in this type of exchange.
To view the available offers, simply visit the following page:
Please remember to check the conditions directly on Hive-Engine before committing, as the offers may change or disappear quickly depending on demand and new delegations.
As for me, this first day back at work was fairly positive, even though the fatigue and pain were definitely present. I am now going to try to recover properly, avoid overdoing things, and see how my shoulder develops over the next few days.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read my posts, follow the bot’s progress, and support my publications.
Have a great day, and take care of your health!
