Token highlight: BRO

Introduction

Welcome to our Token Highlight section where we shine a light on all the good work happening in the hive ecosystem. From game communities, to gender communities, to even projects with just a shared goal in mind. We are planning to cover all of them.

The aim of this idea is to use our audience (which is fairly large for hive (Hi mom!)) to show the community and beyond all the good work token builders are doing across hive. These aren't necessarily projects, these could just be tokens with a shared goal or vision for the betterment of their users.

I'm looking to showcase the best and brightest here. Looking to give a wider audience to those that are working hard every day to achieve something better. And who might not necessarily have the same audience reach as what we do. Sometimes we'll host communities with bigger audiences though! And that's cool too.

The BRO Token

1. Hi! Please introduce yourself and tell us which token is yours.

Hello, I'm @raymondspeaks. I’m a writer, community organiser, Project Manager, and I got involved in crypto in the early days. I'm the owner of BRO.

2. What does it do?

The BRO token was the very first stakeless drip token on hive. Since then there have been many awesome repeats, which has been nice to see. By holding BRO you'll earn hive weekly, and you'll be included in our community for votes.

I have much more planned though.

3. Why did you create it?

If anyone knows me I've always loved the idea of holding based rewards. I was real tired of getting scammed so I came up with that idea along with @reazuliqbal and bam. BRO was born.

4. What benefits are there to having it?

I'd say there's a lot of financial benefit to owning BRO with our weekly hive rewards and also keeping votes in our community, however there's also quite a lot of social benefits it brings you as well. Being one of the big participants of BRO comes with certain doors being opened for you that might necessarily be closed otherwise.

5. What are you most proud of with your token?

The sense of community we've created. Straight up. I'd like to say that most people feel a sense of loyalty to us because I have been loyal to them.

6. Is there a future plan for your token? Do you have links?

Yes. There are many plans in the works. Many gears ticking to what we're in the middle of planning however nothing I can talk about until we:

a) have the funding for it, and
b) have the staff for it.

But we'll get there. It's just a matter of time.

7. What is your biggest failure with your token?

Probably holding onto all of our assets through the bear. I'd have liked to have sold the top and bought the bottom but the last bear market took me by surprise. It wont this time, though. I'll be very prepared.

8. Ending on a positive note, where do you see your token in 5 years?

Selling for at least 20 Hive a pop. But again, time will tell!
