Hive: the good and bad side

Hive is a platform that i joined and I have rest of mine. Even though i have not been here long, am just 6 months old on the platform. I have improved abit here in some areas and looking at this contest topic I can say its an interesting one and it enlighten my mind to participate. With the little experience I had on hive, i can try to note some good and bad things on hive, which might not be constant.

The good things about hive:

First one good thing I like about Hive its that it's a decentralised platform, its not controlled or owned by a single individual. Its not like other web 3 or centralised platform where one its been controlled or band from participating. Anyone can join hive and build without restrictions and one lovely thing about hive is that you don't need qualifications for you to join or be member. Authors and content creators own their content, you are not working for anybody, as you post you earn at your own time and space. You can choose to take a break and come back when you are good, without being controlled or restricted from quitting or continuing. Hive is so clear and open that you can see each authors performance and activities, there's nothing to hid in hive.

Hive is a platform where content creator are being rewarded for just posting contents, for voting on contents and also get rewarded for engaging by commenting on other authors posts and which I see its fun doing, its not stressful. For instance when I feel bored, i will login to hive, by the the time I engage with one or two post, i get response and we continue to chat, my spirit gets lifted. Of a true Its fun doing.

As a content creator on hive, you are free to post what ever you want to post, be it anything provided its original content and not AI help. You don't need to be scared or fear to post your content. There's so much freedom to create your content. Everyone its equal despite your experience on hive.

The bad things about hive

For a newbie on hive, it will be complex for the person to understand and know everything about hive easily. They find it difficult to adapt to the platform. You know Hive is broad platform, it's not just something you will just join today and know everything about it. We learn everyday on hive.

Hive token its not constant, the value of hive fluctuates. Like what we are facing currently, hive value has gone down and it takes grace and time for it to rise up again. This might discourage author's to be more active on the platform. It needs patience and consistency to be on hive.

Lastly if one its not careful, one can be scammed of your tokens if you don't protect your private keys. Content creators can be abuse or downvoter for no tangible reason, just maybe the an author don't like you or your post.

In conclusion hive its a safe place to be, where you build your rewards or wealth. Even we shouldn't be only concerned of the reward, we should engage and build hive now that the value of hive its not stable. We need to be patient and consistent here as I mentioned earlier. As for me i have come to stay to hive no going back.
