I can't say if such a library will be taken care of, to me I feel it would just be abandoned as no one would be willing to invest in it, but I must add that it might possibly become a tourism centre or such and might as well be the go-to place when certain information or knowledge are needed.

I don't think so. In this part of the world, libraries have little or no value. We barely use them, so I understand. Not so with other parts. Except it's here, I don't really see them abandoning it considering it's the last availabile, and you tend to care even for the last of something you have. Just my thoughts.

Well, we never can tell, but for the fact that's it's only remaining one, then it's just obvious that people do not really have interest in it anymore and the others have stopped functioning..
