You've said it all. Most times, professionals are better equipped to take care of aging family members if people do not have enough time to care for them. What's sad is when people completely abandon them with carers. We should still be very much involved in their lives.

That is it. Professionals are only involved when there's no one to care for them and even at that, they mustn't be abandoned.
