Hmmmm this is kind of deep.... I'm not sure of how it feels cos I've not really been on the lookout to meet old friends but I definitely won't treat a friend like trash if I'm opportune to meet any. Any friend would even always want me around though
Just like you said, life changes us and the sparks of the time we spent together with friends may only remain as memories and not sparking up like the past

Most people pretend in the first meet up and you may not know they have changed , the problem lies in when we try to become as close as we used to be, that is when they won't be able to keep up with the facade and what they are trying to hide will surely be exposed.
