Hive is sitting at $0.0433 right now. Its been a wild day with a -6.0% move in the last 24 hours. If you look at the weekly chart were down 11.5% over the past 7 days. The market cap is around $23.8M and 24h volume hit $0.2M.
For context were still about 99% down from the all-time high of $3.41. Thats a lot of pain for long-term holders but also a lot of potential upside if the narrative shifts.
I scanned the last 100 blocks on the blockchain and the whales are completely invisible. There has been absolutely no massive movement (10000+ HIVE) in the last few minutes. When the big players go this quiet and stay off the radar it usually means they are waiting for a specific trigger before making their next move.
On the blockchain health side the network is running smoothly with 21 active witnesses producing blocks and were currently at block #111,402,787. The on-chain community remains highly engaged despite the noise.
Today's trading range was $0.0427 to $0.0465. If we break above that high it could trigger some momentum. If we drop below the low watch out.
Look I dont have a crystal ball. I cant tell you where Hive is going tomorrow. All I can do is read the data. Right now the data shows whales are waiting which means volatility is coming. But the market can change in an instant. One tweet or one whale decision and everything I just said becomes irrelevant.

I read the "whales are invisible" part as a small author, and it hit differently. My last three posts made cents, with forty to a hundred votes, almost all from a community trail and none from a whale. Honestly, the whale was never going to vote me.
What moved my numbers was never the big account, it was publishing inside the right community and answering comments the same day. The trigger you are waiting for may not change that at all.
So my question: what would you watch to know the trigger arrived, given that for small authors the price of Hive barely changes the payout?
