This morning, I headed to the airport to pick up some clients. It was early, around seven o'clock, and the usual hustle and bustle were surprisingly absent. Typically, the airport is packed with people, a sea of faces rushing to their gates or waiting in lines. But today, it was almost very quiet.
The few people who were there moved calmly, without the usual urgency that fills the terminal. The empty corridors and quiet halls gave the airport a different kind of charm. It felt peaceful, almost serene.
The drive to the airport was also a pleasant surprise. The roads were empty, and there was no traffic at all. It reminded me of how things used to be ten years ago when travel wasn't as hectic. The easy drive and the calm at the airport made for a stress-free start to the day.
As I waited for my clients, I spent some time in the garden at the airport. The garden was so serene, a small oasis of greenery amidst the concrete and glass. I love being in this little green space, surrounded by trees, gravel, and big stones where I can sit down and enjoy the tranquility.
While I was in the garden, I noticed a few other tour guides also waiting for their clients in a nearby hall. The hall, with its special roofs, provided a comfortable space for us to wait.
Well, that's my earthy morning, and I know it will get hectic and crowded later. Thankfully, i have met my clients.
