Many of you have asked for a complete guide for Diesel Pools on hive-engine. This is it! If it makes sense I will update this guide to maintain it as accurate as I can.
This was created mostly for educational purposes and its not part of any announcement (that will be done later by @forykw). Hence treat this as such please.
For a start you need to have created a token first (if you wish to use one of your own tokens that is).
You can create pools for other tokens you don't control too, but then that's about you can do.
This action (creating a token) will require you to spend 100 BEE for its creation (the account creating the token needs to have the BEE in liquid form). Then you can proceed towards its creation using an Hive-Engine front end, like Tribaldex.
To change the token URL and its icon, you need to use the same account that created the token, and then head to the page where you can manage it. In this page you will be able to edit some characteristics of the token:
In the same page you will be able to do some other actions or enable features for your token, such as (from left to right), issue new tokens (up to the max supply), enable staking ability, enable token delegation, transfer ownership, or update token precision.
Now that you have a token, you can get another 1000 BEE in order to create a diesel pool. Transfer this amount of BEE to the account that will create the pool.
Then through the pool creation page you will be able to specify the pair you want.
The base token is the first part (the XXX) of the XXX:YYY, and the quote token the YYY part. After your pool gets created, then you will be able to browse it, add/remove liquidity and most importantly, swap tokens when it has liquidity.
You can still use Tribaldex UI to do these, but in this case I would recommend trying the https://beeswap.dcity.io/pools interface!
You can then use "+" to add liquidity or "-" to remove liquidity from the pool (where you need to have both tokens of the pool in liquid for the process to execute). You can also see who participating in the pool and how much their liquidity pairs are, or swap tokens on either directions. Example for the ATX:SWAP.HIVE pair.
You will need to set the price as first liquidity provider. This is where things get interesting. Because depending on how the market of that token (or pairs of tokens if there are already other pools) is, the set price will cause some movements in the market.
Recall, that for people to be able to swap tokens on the created pool, liquidity must exist, and the more the pool has, slippage fees will reduce. Have fun!

Is ATX token pay from witness rewards or?
Nop, all from my pocket. I am using HE BEE rewards to upgrade my gear by the time I get back to New Zealand. As I had it planned for a while ... and now its probably the best time for me to do it. So, that's the main reason why I am withdrawing some BEE.
ATX is totally separate. And Engineered from my own pocket as a mechanism to teach the community and provoke interest in exchange of learned progress from who feels tempted to try it.
