Ways to buy and sell are the issue. Splinterlands is a poor example as it basically a plutocratic con (I still play it). New players give upon it because they are just there as cannon fodder for older players. It's boring playing endless games which you you have no chance of winning as there is zero skill. Power wins every time. It's a great example of how plutocracies end up destroying themselves through greed and stupidity.
