You point is correct and we have some initiatives I like in that direction - crossposting on Reddit for example. But at the end of the day the people have to be onboarded to Hive for us to benefit, views don’t count, only upvotes. And a lot of things here need explanation and make it hard for newbies.

You pointed it quite well "views don't count', but maybe they should. At least based on that web2 can get value through ads and stuff like that, if we capture that value and sell that revenue for HIVE and reward users couldn't translate in more buying pressure and also better rewards for users that attract more views. That could be a new layer of revenue for this blockchain and content creators from here.
