It's a great and an amazing thing to be partaking in the #scholarandscribe community. This is a great community which has a great vision to allow everyone showcase their talents in writing in different styles..
Today I shall be talking about the tales of a Grasshopper which has been in my compound for a very long time but I am kind of amazed with the way I have been seeing it every day and I was thinking perhaps if it has lost its way back home.
Grasshopper are flying creatures that has their positive and negative effect to plants and to human. It has its economic advantages to farmers and also to farm produce.. Aside been belonging to a group of insect, it is also classified as suborder Caelifera.
This creatures belongs to the ancient group of insect living on earth and they are also a chewing herbivorous insect.. This insect has been around my hostel since past weeks now and it has not been going away since then I just decided to take the picture of it today and show the amazing creature to the world... I love to show amazing creatures that God has created and I love them so much..
Thanks for reading my post it hope you enjoy it...
Hi heskay! I found this post interesting! But it isn't creative writing!
Scholar and Scribe is a creative writing community for fictional stories, poetry, lyrics, freewriting, and other forms of creative content! While giving us information about a grasshopper is interesting and worthy of a blog post but it doesn't really fit in with the community!
If you were to write a story about a grasshopper going on an adventure to find a tasty leaf, or a poem or haiku about a grasshopper that would be different!
This is probably more suited to amazing nature or one of the communities that focuses on informative posts and things like that! I am happy to see you posting in the community and I'm excited to see what you come up with for creative content!
Here is a haiku about your grasshopper:
Compound eyes, vibrant
colors, and ears on its knees:
grasshopper meets wall.
Thanks for this.i am very happy you called me to notice. I would make an amend about that..
But can I make a post about it again since you have told me what to do??
Sure- I'd love to see a creative story about the grasshopper. It's just that the original post reads more like an informational post.
Focus on telling a story or write some poetry!
