dCity Progress Update #61

Introduction
Good day to everyone, hope your week had been good so far. I was really unwell yesterday and I do see myself having my health take a toll with the amount of work I had on hand and trying to be consistent on Hive and the games on Hive blockchain. While it is fun seeing everything coming in and see numbers growing, I know that my health condition is not as good as it used to be. So now I will be prioritising on living a better lifestyle. Hopefully things as I take good care of my health, I will get healthier and be more available on Hive subsequently. I am trying my best to increase my SIM holdings and glad that I do have sufficient layer 2 coins to help fund them.

What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.

The 105 SIM for income and 14 SIM from war is a nice amount that I am growing on a daily basis as long rewards are being sent out. It is quite a nice number though I would love to see it grow faster. Curious why hasn't any student pop to become student with debt. It has been a while since I last saw one.

Would like to also thank @ryosai for pointing out certain inefficiencies of my city. Though at this moment, I am a little tight in terms of my time to make the adjustment and changes. But really thank you for analyzing my city and always ready to share me your thoughts and strategies. When time permits, I would continue scurry the market for cheap NFTs to grow my city further. For now, I will slow down a little if I need to sacrifice some sleep.

Welcome New Citizens
Since the last update, again there were 3 young citizen that become a student. Somehow, nowadays the young citizen to student cycle seem to have shortened and many times I see how my young citizens even before they are sold, already become students. As with my earlier paragraph, I really hope to see new citizens with new occupations contributing to the city.

Student count within the city is at 49 right now which is huge. Hoping to share good news of some of them becoming adults working in the city and contributing.

SIM Millionaire Goal Progress

The growth for this week is at approximately 31k. Just took some layer 2 coins that were built up and push them into SIM and bring my holdings even higher. I think very soon I should be able to break the 700k mark.

Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 652,435 SIM. It is really quite tough to sell young citizens right now as they just become students so quickly. So I guess, maybe I can just hold them till they pop into working adults. Key growth nowadays are mainly on layer 2 tokens conversion which brings quite a decent amount of SIM to be added.

Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.

With the increase in SIM in my Hive Engine, the 30 day average of my SIM power will continue to increase and then translate to move liquid Hive earning per day. Amount of liquid Hive per day based on current 30 day average is as seen below:

The average value is still catching up to my actual SIM holdings and with my current additional injection with gap still maintained. Delta right now still maintained at about 80k from actual SIM holdings. Glad to see another increase in the daily hive drip. I think with that steady build from time to time, I am quite certain I will break into new heights everything I gather more SIM>

Assuming no increase in Sim Power (which is not possible with my city still generating income), I will be getting 0.84 liquid Hive per month. For now, the daily Hive drip figure has a minimal increase probably due to the changing SIM price. This amount that is earned passively will aid me in my goal where I am hoping that with this continuous building of the passive liquid hive accumulation, and when the goal is hit, I will be able to fully fund for the minimum hive power up requirement for Hive Power Up of 10 HP solely from this. And this will need me to be able to accumulate 0.333 Hive per day in order to do so. Right now due to reduced liquid hive gotten per day, while I am further away from my goal of 0.333 liquid Hive per day.

Closing
Thank you all for coming by and reading my update. I will be putting more effort in my own health and lifestyle, but that does not mean I will let my city turn bad. I really think I need to find more time to sleep more and ensure my body recovers that always live in a state of fatigue which can make me moody and feel lousy. Nevertheless, the growth continues and I am certain I can make good progress still!
