dCity Progress Update #59

Introduction
Good day to everyone, hope the week went well for everyone. The work week has completed and it is now time to look at how I have progressed in dCity. While I thought I will have more time each day in Hive, somehow work escalated and my time on Hive actually reduced only till the wee hours.

What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.

My City and Intermediate Plans
The below screenshot is how my city looks like at this moment:

The city still look like the way it is thus far, being self sustaining but for me. The 105 SIM for income and 14 SIM from war is not a bad amount for me daily as I continue to push towards my SIM accumulation. The idea of bringing up the daily income is always there especially worrying if a student graduates into the workforce but I do not have a building to house him and adds burden to the social support. Right now I am still in search of good pricing building NFTs to house these unemployed and give them a job.

Welcome New Citizens
Since the last update, there were 2 young citizen that become a student.

I remember there was a phase where I had to scramble with tonnes of young citizen growing up and also student that graduate. So far no graduates at the moment for quite some time and I am hoping there will be some movement to make me get some new building nfts to bulk up my city. The wind farm plan is always there, maybe time to resume and then do a big merge for more tax refund.

SIM Millionaire Goal Progress

The growth for this week is at approximately 50k. I wanted to move as fast as I can and I have thrown in quite a fair bit of layer 2 coins to enable this. Hopefully I can continue the growth and complete the remaining 400k as soon as possible.

Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 604,533 SIM. A little more diligent this week and collected young citizens whenever I can and then put them up on the market. Key growth really coming from the sale of layer 2 tokens which will continue to be worked on as I keep increasing my SIM holdings.

Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.

With the increase in SIM in my Hive Engine, the 30 day average of my SIM power will continue to increase and then translate to move liquid Hive earning per day. Amount of liquid Hive per day based on current 30 day average is as seen below:

The average value is still catching up to my actual SIM holdings and with my current additional injection with gap still maintained. Delta right now is about 70k from actual SIM holdings. Glad to see an increase in the daily hive drip. Let's see how much faster I can push myself for time to manage and increase the SIM holdings.

Assuming no increase in Sim Power (which is not possible with my city still generating income), I will be getting 0.78 liquid Hive per month. For now, the daily Hive drip figure has a minimal increase probably due to the changing SIM price. This amount that is earned passively will aid me in my goal where I am hoping that with this continuous building of the passive liquid hive accumulation, and when the goal is hit, I will be able to fully fund for the minimum hive power up requirement for Hive Power Up of 10 HP solely from this. And this will need me to be able to accumulate 0.333 Hive per day in order to do so. Right now due to reduced liquid hive gotten per day, while I am further away from my goal of 0.333 liquid Hive per day.

With some odd observation on young citizen conversion, I might consider selling students instead unless a converted student can net me more consistent SIM income.

Closing
Thank you all for coming by and reading my update. The quest towards getting 1 million SIM did not stop and I am pushing hard for it to reach that goal as soon as I can. The city also need a little more injection, so lets see in the coming weeks how can I make it even bigger and bring in more elements into the city.
