dCity Progress Update #53

Introduction
Good day to everyone, doing a quick update on my dCity status and I realized that it had been 2 weeks since I last updated on my city. This time round on the city front, not as much change on the city itself but I am pushing hard on my SIM holdings. So let's dive right into today's sharing and update.

What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.

My City and Intermediate Plans
The below screenshot is how my city looks like at this moment:

City
SIM income have managed to inch into a new high of 106 SIM from previous 105 SIM. There isn't much change in terms of the structure and all for the city. Economic structures and main citizens have been the same as I did not actually scan the market for good purchases. I was instead focusing on growing my SIM holdings. But there is one thing unique that is happening in the city and that is the city has no more active young citizens.

I was just doing my usual claims and all of a sudden, all of my young citizens either got sold or have matured to become students. Not a bad thing since there is no negative income on students but surprisingly it does tell how much my city is maturing. I think this is a good change and will help me springboard further into a more vibrant city. With whopping 50 students waiting to come into the workforce, better times await the city.

Welcome New Citizens
Since the last update, there were many students added. A total of 10 young citizens have started schooling and move one step closer towards contributing for the city.

However, there is a gap in terms of employment and also the constant need for tax reduction to boost SIM income.

SIM Millionaire Goal Progress

There is a big boost in 47k SIM into this update because I started working on the non active layer 2 coins that lie in my wallet without doing anything or gonna yield me anything. Moving forward I am going to make sure this happen more frequently and charge towards the goal of having 1 million SIM power. Key is to ensure consistent good growth to build on that passive.

Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 453,667 SIM. The bulk increase is on layer 2 coin offloading and converting them all to SIM to push up my SIM holdings. There are some sales happening here and there but key big increases will need to be from clearing my sitting layer 2 tokens to make things more productive here on dCity. I do hope to accelerate my progress and when opportunity rises to also grow my SIM income.

Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.

With the increase in SIM in my Hive Engine, the 30 day average of my SIM power will continue to increase and then translate to move liquid Hive earning per day. Amount of liquid Hive per day based on current 30 day average is as seen below:

The average value is still catching up to my actual SIM holdings and with my current additional injection, hopefully it will ramp up the average faster as I continue the chase towards the goal.

Assuming no increase in Sim Power (which is not possible with my city still generating income), I will be getting 0.63 liquid Hive per month. For now, the daily Hive drip figure has a minimal increase probably due to the changing SIM price. However, the key focus does not change, converting unused layers 2 and also selling young citizens to keep the city balanced and earn some SIM. This amount that is earned passively will aid me in my goal where I am hoping that with this continuous building of the passive liquid hive accumulation, and when the goal is hit, I will be able to fully fund for the minimum hive power up requirement for Hive Power Up of 10 HP solely from this. And this will need me to be able to accumulate 0.333 Hive per day in order to do so. Right now due to reduced liquid hive gotten per day, while I am further away from my goal of 0.333 liquid Hive per day.

Thank you all for coming by and reading my update. After being heavily involved in a 3 days event and now back, time to put in some effort to increase my SIM holdings. I am looking forward to how the game will continue to develop and becoming a SIM Millionaire as soon as possible.
