dCity Progress Update #52

Introduction
Good day to everyone, doing a quick update on my dCity status as I am currently jam packed for 3 days on an event which is telling me I am catching on age as my back is hurting real bad from a day of walking about in the convention hall. Time is tight and hence the short update.

What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.

City
SIM income have managed to yet again achieve a new high of 105 SIM from previous 104 SIM. No big increase in terms of the income like per previous update. But I am trying my best to push for some more as things stabilize.

Right now, I think there is a buzz going around with regards to the protection on the general operations for hive engine from outburst of transactions and also a balance to game operators whom will need additional transactions. This potentially will make it harder for game operators should a fee be introduced. However at this moment, there is no quick solution to address exploitation by individuals whom attempts to break the system. Hopefully a good solution or a balanced proposal can be put up between hive engine and game owners to help find a path to keep things going smooth without creating additional cost which will shake the community.

Uncertain times but I am still hopeful that things will become resolved.

Welcome New Citizens
Since the last update, there were many students added. A total of 8 young citizens have started schooling and move one step closer towards contributing for the city.

For now, no students have graduated and I hope there will be some in the next update. And I am surprised to see that I have only 4 young citizens remain in the city. We are actually growing rather quickly.


SIM Millionaire Goal Progress

Not the same kind of boost coming into this update as per the last where we saw a large amount of numbers coming through. Just a slight boost of 3k from young citizen sales and daily income.

Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 406,773 SIM. So far it all came from daily income and also young citizen sales. For sure there will need to have additional SIM being purchased to boost my liquid hive income.

Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.

With the increase in SIM in my Hive Engine, the 30 day average of my SIM power will continue to increase and then translate to move liquid Hive earning per day. Amount of liquid Hive per day based on current 30 day average is as seen below:

The average value is still catching up to my actual SIM holdings so when opportunity comes, I will also continue to build my SIM holdings further.



Assuming no increase in Sim Power (which is not possible with my city still generating income), I will be getting 0.63 liquid Hive per month. For now, the daily Hive drip figure has a minimal increase probably due to the changing SIM price. However, the key focus does not change, converting unused layers 2 and also selling young citizens to keep the city balanced and earn some SIM. This amount that is earned passively will aid me in my goal where I am hoping that with this continuous building of the passive liquid hive accumulation, and when the goal is hit, I will be able to fully fund for the minimum hive power up requirement for Hive Power Up of 10 HP solely from this. And this will need me to be able to accumulate 0.333 Hive per day in order to do so. Right now due to reduced liquid hive gotten per day, while I am further away from my goal of 0.333 liquid Hive per day.

Closing
Thank you all for coming by and reading my update. Need to scoot off to the event soon and hopefully my back pain do not worsen. Hope everyone continue to grow their cities and hopefully things relating to hive-engine transaction and cost gets resolved soon.
