dCity Progress Update #50

Introduction
Good day to everyone, hope all of you are doing well so far. Been a while since I've do an update on my city. Many citizens have grown up and have become students which is a good sign and for sure this will continue to build on to my city.

What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.

My City and Intermediate Plans
The below screenshot is how my city looks like at this moment:

SIM income have managed to yet again achieve a new high of 101 SIM from previous 98 SIM. And yes I have broken the 100 SIM mark per day which is something that I am thankful. This is something going to be boosting my SIM income daily to ensure I inch closer to my goals. Now that the engine is moving, now is to continue getting more SIM and push forth to the goal. Something to note is that the race is on in terms of the income ranking and if I do not keep up, I might not be able to claim young citizens daily.

Time to continue working on the city to ensure I can push forth more income in the city.

Unemployment in the city is currently still on the high side which I am thinking to buy some structures to keep them employed and prevent elevated social support.

Welcome New Citizens
Since the last update, there were many students added. A total of 13 young citizens have started schooling and move one step closer towards contributing for the city.

For now, no students have graduated and I hope there will be some in the next update.

SIM Millionaire Goal Progress

A 7k growth in SIM for this week which is not too bad. For the growth, it mainly came from young citizen sales and this is why, the watching the income ranking is important so that I do not fall out of the top 400. Key is to ensure I stay on track and also continue looking into layer 2 tokens that can be repurposed to more SIM.

Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 361,894 SIM. So far it all came from daily income and also young citizen sales. For sure there will need to have additional SIM being purchased to boost my liquid hive income.

Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.

With the increase in SIM in my Hive Engine, the 30 day average of my SIM power will continue to increase and then translate to move liquid Hive earning per day. Amount of liquid Hive per day based on current 30 day average is as seen below:

Assuming no increase in Sim Power (which is not possible with my city still generating income), I will be getting 0.60 liquid Hive per month. For now, the daily Hive drip figure is of no change, but with more young citizen sales and further bulking up of SIM, the daily liquid hive value will slowly increase. This amount that is earned passively will aid me in my goal where I am hoping that with this continuous building of the passive liquid hive accumulation, and when the goal is hit, I will be able to fully fund for the minimum hive power up requirement for Hive Power Up of 10 HP solely from this. And this will need me to be able to accumulate 0.333 Hive per day in order to do so. Right now due to reduced liquid hive gotten per day, while I am further away from my goal of 0.333 liquid Hive per day.

Closing
Thank you all for coming by and reading my update. The race is on for the rankings which is something good as it will keep us on our toes and ensure we do not rest on our laurels. I am thankful to still be within top 400 and will continue to work on keeping myself within the top 400. It is not easy but I will need to seek ways to boost the income across multiple front from not just from tax refunds.
