dCity Progress Update #49

Introduction
Good day to everyone, hope all of you are doing well so far. Many things are changing in dCity especially on the tax refund and it did cause some changes in my account and I will continue looking into growing my city.

What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.

My City and Intermediate Plans
The below screenshot is how my city looks like at this moment:

City
SIM income have managed to yet again achieve a new high of 98 SIM from previous 95 SIM. The new changes in tax refund sure had something to improve my SIM income and in terms of the income because there is a change to income tax and interestingly I can see the left side of the income actually finally showed a green figure. From this, I am inching closer to 100 SIM daily which I think is a good milestone to clear before pushing myself even harder to gather more SIM.

Unemployment is currently on the high side which I am thinking to buy some structures to keep them employed and prevent elevated social support.

Welcome New Citizens
Compared to previous update, there is only 1 student conversion since then.

After paying the student debt, a hard worker emerges from this student conversion.

While it didn't had any tax refund stats, this is still a good new addition to the city and thank you for contributing your labour to the city. Looking at the pricing of it, it is not a bad card to own as it can bring some ROI upon selling it in the market.

SIM Millionaire Goal Progress

A 8k growth in SIM for this week which is not too bad. Considering I didn't really sell many young citizens and this is why I need to really move more layer 2 to SIM to bolster my SIM power base which not only bring me closer to being millionaire but also improve my daily liquid hive drip.

Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 354,100 SIM. Expenditure came in spending to pay for student debt which gave me a hard worker. Young citizen sales were not high so gaining a good amount of SIM is not too bad.

Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.

With the increase in SIM in my Hive Engine, the 30 day average of my SIM power will continue to increase and then translate to move liquid Hive earning per day. Amount of liquid Hive per day based on current 30 day average is as seen below:

Assuming no increase in Sim Power (which is not possible with my city still generating income), I will be getting 0.63 liquid Hive per month. For now, the daily Hive drip figure is of no change, but with more young citizen sales and further bulking up of SIM, the daily liquid hive value will slowly increase. This amount that is earned passively will aid me in my goal where I am hoping that with this continuous building of the passive liquid hive accumulation, and when the goal is hit, I will be able to fully fund for the minimum hive power up requirement for Hive Power Up of 10 HP solely from this. And this will need me to be able to accumulate 0.333 Hive per day in order to do so. Right now due to reduced liquid hive gotten per day, while I am further away from my goal of 0.333 liquid Hive per day.

Closing
Thank you all for coming by and reading my update. This is interesting as I've receive a new citizen type that I have never seen from graduating student. I would love to see more of them appearing in the city to make it more vibrant. Things are changing in dCity and I would need to push a little in terms of my SIM power growth and strengthen my holdings.
