dCity Progress Update #32

Introduction
Good day to everyone, hope everyone is doing alright. Christmas is just around the corner, I hope you have started your Christmas shopping before it gets too late and you will be in for a mad rush.

What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.

My City
The below screenshot is how my city looks like at this moment:

I've done some Christmas shopping and hence I've managed to get my daily income from 61 to 64 which is something I am really glad. I did mention about set purchase and indeed today, I have bought a set consisting of a wind turbine and 2 economist. Initially I wanted to get an eco-activist but somehow the value did not worth it on today's market hence I just grabbed 2 economist instead.

With everything stabilizing and claims/market not seeing any issue, that's the reason why I begin buying again. And definitely I will need to continue working on my city growth and hence making a purchase is definitely needed. Right now I am at 9 wind turbine and a long way towards my wind farm. I will just keep earning and buying until I can form the wind farm before starting another wind farm.

Pushing for More SIM

This presents to us an opportunity for those of us whom want to bulk up in SIM which the price of SIM is so affordable now. When examining my sources of SIM, bulk of it came from Young Citizen sales and also from layer 2 token trade. And this is why, a strong foundation to kick start SIM journey is important as it will just continue to snowball as you build a stronger city to get more income while you manage well the student, young citizens and when they join the workforce. And if there are coin to projects you no longer pursue, do remember to offload and repurpose them into SIM which can be used to further build the city or improve your Sim Power, no matter how, still a win-win situation. I will look out to build my Sim Power whenever I can and I hope you will do so too!

Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 265,547 SIM. SIM increase mainly coming from Young Citizen sales, daily rewards and also layer 2 repurpose. Bit by bit, the goal is minimally 1m SP to join the Sim Club.

Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.

With the increase in SIM in my Hive Engine, the 30 day average of my SIM power will continue to increase and then translate to move liquid Hive earning per day. Amount of liquid Hive per day based on current 30 day average is as seen below:

Assuming no increase in Sim Power, I will get 0.102 liquid Hive per month, fluctuations and now we dropped a little. Though I did increase my SP, I guess I cannot have enough to combat the variables. This is why, we gotta keep pushing our Sim Power as high as we can to reap the benefits. This amount earned passively will aid me in my goal where I am hoping that with this continuous building of the passive liquid hive accumulation, I will be able to fully fund for the minimum hive power up requirement for Hive Power Up of 10 HP solely from this. And this will need me to be able to accumulate 0.333 Hive per day in order to do so. Right now I am 30% completed which I am really thankful.

Closing
With a bull run in the market where many things are soaring in terms of price and with SIM price still so attractive, time to buy up as much as you can. Scoop them while they are low and let them work for you in the passive realm or invest them to make your city a flourishing one that bring you loads of SIM income.
