dCity Progress Update #29

Introduction
Good day to everyone, hope everyone is doing alright. It had been a very jammed pack week for me as I had quite a bit of work to clear before the annual slow down period coming in December. Progress was a little stagnant for this week as compared to previous.

What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.

My City

Currently, the daily income has dropped a little below 60 SIM due to some tax changes and such and possibly due to the need for a little more optimization. In terms of unemployment rate, I am still at net zero on a perfectly balanced city.

For the Wind Turbine challenge between me and @tarabh, no progress on my side as no new wind turbines are being purchased. The reason for this also mainly due to the lack of young citizens popping into students. Whenever young citizens pop to student, it gives me the urge to start balancing the city. But I think this potentially slow me down in terms of achieving what I want to achieve. I think to keep up with the progress, might wanna do additions from the market on a weekly basis than waiting for changes happening within then start to act. I will step on it as I try to grow my city.

SIM Millionaire Progress
In order to be a SIM Millionaire, I will need to give some traction and keep track on how far am I from the goal. Right now I have yet to cross into the 300k range of SIM which I intend to do some catching up and pull in to become a SIM Millionaire.

To push for some progress, I will need to keep a look out in the market to make some purchase when opportunity arise for some SIM or trade in some of my layer 2 tokens to obtain more SIM. Below is how the market is for SIM so I would say time to time, the pricing looks good for some purchase.

Other than that, another key aspect is to continue building the city and getting more daily SIM income which I am continuously still working on. Hopefully I will be able to cross the 300k SIM tokens in the near future as we journey on towards accumulating 1 Million SIM.

Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 246,532 SIM. SIM increase mainly coming from Young Citizen sales and layer 2 token swapping. As mentioned above, I am hoping to make progress in terms of SIM accumulation in order to reach SIM Millionaire ASAP which allow further progress for my city.

Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.

With the increase in SIM in my Hive Engine, the 30 day average of my SIM power will continue to increase and then translate to move liquid Hive earning per day. Amount of liquid Hive per day based on current 30 day average is as seen below:

Assuming no increase in Sim Power, I will get 0.102 liquid Hive per month. I am glad it had crossed another high in terms of passive. This will aid me in my goal where I am hoping that with this continuous building of the passive liquid hive accumulation, I will be able to fully fund for the minimum hive power up requirement for Hive Power Up of 10 HP solely from this. And this will need me to be able to accumulate 0.333 Hive per day in order to do so. Right now I am 30% completed which I am really thankful.

Closing
While work had been a little busy, I am still making progress in my city and also improving on the daily passive hive, achieving 30% of the goal that I wanted to achieve on funding the Hive Power Up Day minimum power up requirement. As the slow down period at the workplace is coming up, time for some active work in the city and further develop it.
