Building a Better Future with One Million Dollars

In the event that I wake up one morning and come to the realisation that I've won a million dollars, I'd be thrilled, super excited and filled with joy, and that's because of the fact that having such a huge amount of money will transform my life and that of my family, change our story for good and create a huge gap between me and poverty if we manage the money well. One million dollars is a very huge amount of money, and in a country like mine, it's an amount that can literally make poverty a thing of the past in your family generation if wisely invested and managed.

The above statement is said because I believe a million dollars is a life-changing amount; if converted to my country's local currency, naira, that'll be about one billion three hundred and fifty million naira. If I were to win that, I'd need to pinch myself at least ten times throughout that day to be certain I'm not dreaming and the universe isn't playing a prank on me. Now, talking about what I'll do when I win such an amount? Will I quit my job or continue working despite having such a huge amount? I'd like to say I won't quit my job, at least not immediately, and the reason is so I won't stop working out of comfort but keep spending till I exhaust the whole amount of money.

Having such a huge amount of money needs serious deliberations on what to do and how to do it. So after going through critical thinking, there are things I'll certainly do that already came to mind. One of such things is starting a business, although at the moment I don't have any in mind, but I know when we get to that bridge, we'll cross it. I'd also invest heavily in my wife's business, which is building her a fashion house and stocking the place with lots of equipment and fashion tools that make her service delivery exceptional, fast and easy.

Another thing I'd be doing is investing in the stock market and different businesses I know have a bright future, and also I'd be building my dream house. I'd want my family to live a happy and comfortable life, so building a house of my dreams that's stocked with all necessary home appliances would be a nice thing to do. That's about all I'll do when I have such a huge amount of money, but like I said, the first priority and most important is investment in business and an ideal that'll help me sustain and multiply what I have so that my lineage will never know struggles again.
