Funny But Not Funny...

You know when they say we humans are being ruled by technology, I think I do believe that today , though it was a funny incident, but also one that almost got me lost , to think that I had been thinking about what to write about today, and then this happened.

So I have been at home for days since I finished my papers in school, I have not had any outings or activities of any sort since that time, I have always been indoors because sincerely I have nowhere to go to and I was even telling some of my friends that if finishing one part of school feels like this? How would finishing the whole thing because like...we had laughed about this , but then it has been on my mind ever since and yeah it's just something I have to think about , even though I have a lot of things already planned out , like things that needs to be done after, still it is still something to think about.

Now back to my bone of contention, so I got called out earlier this morning , even the thought of going out of the house felt very strange ,but I had no choice cause I also needed the exercise , after getting to a point where it felt that I had to walk some distance, I suddenly started feeling lost, though I didn't know the area but I was certainly sure I was on the right path… and I trusted my map to take me to my destination , how wrong I was , to say I didn't even know how to even read the map.

So I continue walking for about 10 minutes until , I had to ask a stranger if where I was heading to was right, and oh boy, I was so wrong, I had been heading to the opposite direction of where I was actually going and I had been on it for minutes, and to say I had my head in my phone and wasn't even looking at where I was going to was another thing, lol ,it was very funny cause I had to walk back down where I was coming from and start my journey all over again, funniest part is that where I was going to wasn't even really far from the start point I had taken before.
On my way back to my destination , I just took out my phone updated my WhatsApp status on my current situation I laughed because, we see our parents telling us that we spend so much time on our phones and that it's taking the best from us , well I think that proved to be true today . In a funny way that is.

So imagine if a grown up like me can get lost following the wrong part a map , how much more a kid with a phone, well I know I can't get lost even though , I would have still asked questions , but I think I do get what my parents do tell me now about spending so much time on my phone. As funny as today was for me , I don't think I want to walk that kind of distance all in the name of direction purpose.lol.
