One of the most dangerous threats to humanity is a polluted environment; if the environment is not properly kept, then the people around the environment are vulnerable to any kind of infection. Now let's talk about erosion, one of the major causes of erosion is lack of proper water drainage.

People are busy building houses without creating a water part; that is why when the rain 🌧️ season starts, lives and property are being lost. And again, it is not about just creating the drainage but also keeping it clean, because when it is not clean, it will block, and that will stop the water from flowing well. That is why sanitation is good; another is lack of trees. Trees are very important to our environment. Aside from the natural and healthy air it gives us, they also help in protecting our home from natural disasters, the erosion I spoke about earlier, so I think people should consider planning to plant more trees around the environment for safety.

Now talking about plastic recycling, well, I think people are now working on that aspect already, because I've seen that the environment is a bit free from the plastic waste; picking plastic now here in Nigeria is a very good and paying job. So for now we are kind of safe from that aspect. For wastage of water, the water board should do more on checking the pipes to see if there are any repairs that are needed; not just that, it is also our responsibility as good citizens to report any leaking pipes around our environment.
