Mission Impossible: The definition of True Cinema - Mu entry for India United Contest

Welcome back,
I am back after a long time. This time I will try my best to stay active. Right now, I am going to share my participation in one of the contests where I have to share about my favorite movie. So my favorite movie is the complete franchise of Mission Impossible.

The first movie came back in 1996, around 29 years ago, and the last movie, or we can say the most recent release of this franchise, came in 2025, and it was amazing.

The reason why I like the Mission Impossible franchise completely is because of how it keeps the person watching the movie connected throughout. There is not a single frame or second where you will feel disconnected while watching this movie.

Especially when you watch the last two parts, I think they are the most perfect cinema I have watched in my life.

The second reason why I like this movie is because of my favorite hero, Tom Cruise, and the reality of how he has managed to perform most of the stunts by himself in real life.

Be it jumping from a mountain cliff and then opening the parachute, or hanging outside an airplane, or many other dangerous stunts. The man has won billions of hearts through his acting skills as well as his stunt skills, and that is another big reason why I admire this franchise so much.

Lastly, I think the recent two parts of the movie, which collectively combine up to five to six hours of watch time, had a very strong storyline. The story was about how artificial intelligence can actually take control of countries and nuclear facilities available in different parts of the world.

And while it might feel unreal while watching the movie, who knows, maybe after 10 years or 20 years this could become a possibility where a person with bad intentions creates such an advanced artificial intelligence that can actually do this. So maybe that is one of the most important reasons why I liked the last two parts so much.

I have a separate love and space for this franchise, and that is why I have picked this movie as my favorite. I think there should be more movies coming from this franchise, but looking at the last part which was released in 2025, I think the ending already feels very clear to all of us.

Still, I hope that somehow the writers find a way to create a new part so that we can enjoy more of Mission Impossible cinema in life.
