From Disappointing Airdrops to Real Value - Why Hive Is a Better Investment of Your Time

We used the example of Blum which was listing yesterday and to my shock it performed even more badly then expected. The market cap of Blum could not even reach 10 million dollars. I expected it to somewhere around 50 million dollars based on historic performance data of recent projects from the same ecosystem. Blum is a DEX still failed to got above the 10 million dollars mark. That is why it was a shock to me, I interacted with many users and they are now abusing BLUM for wasting the time of their community. There anger is justified because after 1 year of activities they got $1-2 of airdrop.

I personally know people who were indulged in BLUM and I know that they were spending more than hours for most of the days. Imagine what could have happen if the same one hour was given on hive for blogging. No doubt that it would have been more interesting and rewarding compared to those so called airdrops. There are many users who will reward you more than that airdrop just for writing a valuable comment on their blog. It is my opinion though I know there are airdrop hunters who make a lot of money but majority of them fails to get a good amount.

Lastly there are more than financial beneficial that one enjoy here by blogging. You interact and share thoughts of each other, learn new things, meet people with similarities, build relationships, and much more. So it is worth all your time when you give it on hive blockchain compared to those dead projects that are only in the market to rob their users. Hive is like a sea and as much as you explore it you will enjoy it. I forgot one thing, when you use hive you are actually becoming the part of web3 community.
