$1000 would go a long way
If you have $1000 today, what would you do?
Would you invest, save, spend, donate, or start a business? Why would you choose that option, and what long term impact would it have on your life?
Having such a money at ones in my bank account would definitely make my mind go alot of directions, but because it's not enough to start a pharmacy business, I would have use it to take care of my younger sister's educational expenses.
Investing that money into Hive would have been a better option but at the moment having physical cash is going to be spent all through and through for a very pressing need in my household.
This option is so because, we are a team of siblings without parents, and one of our aim is to support each other to grow, especially our younger siblings that are still in higher institution of learning.
There is just too much on my plate right now, having that amount in naira which is in my local currency, would buy a phone for my younger sister, pay her house rents and also pay her school fees which is about to commence.
The burden of having to spend an extra money from my salary would be out of the question. As a reward for having $1000, I would buy myself a dress and then probably go out and eat some fried chicken thighs which is my favorite.
From payment of school fees to buying of new phone, I know I would still have some change left, I would still send my sister's some stipend and if there is any money left, I can still buy Hive to invest into the Hive blockchain.
I believe investing into my sister's education is also a very good investment, which I know will yield good results in the future.
Funny enough, I just realized my spending on my sister is an investment, so having that kind of money would right now, would actually go a long way in lifting that burden of stress from me and my older siblings.

If you come into a lot of money without having to work for it, it's tempting to squander it. However, I think you would be making the best investment by putting it towards your sister's education first. I'm sure you could set aside a little to treat yourself, which would be fine too!
Yes that's true, i make sure i buy what i need not what i want, there are exceptions sometimes though, this is because i know what i put into for work before getting paid at the end of the month.
