The Blind Man Who Taught Me to See Life Differently

Hello to my fellow community members,

Friends, recently I was visiting a place where I saw a man who was blind. I was observing him very closely. He struggles a lot to walk, obviously, because unlike us, he doesn’t have eyes, so he can’t see.

Still, he was not sad, he was so motivated, and he was actually doing all the stuff on his own. He was not asking for a lot of help from the people around him.

He sat on the chair, he asked for the food, he paid the money by feeling the currencies, and he just enjoyed the meal. He searched for water with his hand, but he didn’t complain.

Friends, that is the reason why I am writing about that person, because he motivated me a lot. I pray to God that may God help him for the rest of his life and keep him motivated and happy the way he was, even after not having his eyes.

If I think about living without my eyes, I think I would prefer to die. I don’t want to live without seeing this world, so I really have a lot of respect for that blind man who actually taught me a lesson as well.

So, the lesson he taught me is to be happy in life no matter what comes across. I don’t think any problem that I have ever faced in my life can be bigger than losing my eyes. So friends, I think by remembering the story of this old blind man, we should learn to be happy in the most difficult of times, no matter what.

Another thing I observed about that old man was that he was very punctual, and he was buying fruits from a fruit seller. He asked for two apples, and he was able to identify that the apples were not in good shape just by touching them.

He asked to cut the apple so that he could eat it, and he paid 50 rupees to that fruit seller as well by feeling the notes with his hands. And it’s really amazing because he was not asking for any help.

What I came to know about that blind man is that he is able to travel even in the metro train. That is a big thing. I was shocked because even most of the new young generation kids who come to my city fail to travel in the metro. They are scared, and this blind man is a professional.

So, that’s what I wanted to share, friends.

Thank you for reading my blog till the end.
