A time pass skill becomes a passion

This indeed is an interesting theme, where all of us has an hidden skill and when you get a strong support, you succeed. Wish to know more about this theme then go ahead.

Greetings one and all and dear members of the #unitedindia community.

School days are the one, where we are groomed to be ourselves, especially when we are packed with supportive teachers. Sometimes, it is our teachers who tend to find the we in ourselves, despite our ignorance.

It can be a small skill in our young age, maybe the one we choose to time pass will later become our profession by choice. Most parents in my age, while schooling, had only one concept - study well and find a job. Then it was difficut to make them understand, the world is big and apart from studies, we have a lot more to explore and survive.

Back in my school days, I had S.U.P.W period (social productive work in our timetable) and my interest began their in embroidery and stitching. As a school going child with less responsibilities, I devoted my time in embroidery making various designs.

More than studies I wished a career in fashion designing and tailoring, but that was totally impossible, as studies were only the prime importance given then.

Then I took to writing, posting small articles in magazines and college magazines, which ultimately improved my reading habit. This finally paved way to my writing in school magazines, while working as a librarian.

But then, a long gap due to family responsibilities restrained me from writing. But I never lost the interest because I was simultaneously active in preparing speeches and articles for my kiddoos.

In school, we staff had the opportunity to attend Toast Masters session every Thursday, and once a while I was given the opportunity to prepare topics for the session, which ultimately improved by writing skills. Appreciations followed in silently and those were great moments.

To enhance my writing skill and inorder to keep me occupied, my son @akhilsalim who knew I was sitting idle after I quit the job and who knew I was much interested in writing, suggested me to join Read cash platform where, so that I get an opportunity to brush up my writing skills once again.

Henceforth, my career once again started with Read cash. But then this had double happiness - one my continuity in writing and then a small income for my little effort. From this platform, I came to know about Hive.

Once I switched on to this platform, in the beginning I felt it was a complex platform. I couldn't understand, so after preparing an account in Hive, I slowly started to learn for few months, even today Iam in learning process. But better than the beginning period. I took the help of many people for help - as to how to post, regarding upvote and other communities and earning possibilities and so on.

I definitely would like to appreciate those who were always ready for their genuine help. To name a few - @tuisada @princessbusayo @untilwelearn @mysteriousroad without whose help I would still remain in the start only.

Honestly speaking, I am still trying to improvise and take help from hiveans were and when necessary.

It makes me happy whenever I make a post. Thanks to all those who supported me and stopped by to read this blog.
