What Keeps Me Here On Hive

Hive is a journey, Hive in many ways, is a second home. I will tell you why. I have heard many people say that "the good old days are gone," those days as they say, earnings were higher, because I have not joined Hive then so I wouldn't say. But I sometimes wonder what it must have been like back then, that made many to quit and some discouraged now. But instead of dwelling on the past that I am not even aware of, so I chose to focus on the present. So I decide to remain focused and continue to push, using this opportunity to grow and build my Hive Power, strongly hoping and believing that things will improve again.

One of the major reasons that keeps me here on Hive is the community. There are different range of communities where one can share or create any type of content you can think of. These communities are well organised and govern by clear rules that everyone must follow regardless of who you are.

Another reason that keeps me here on Hive is the freedom of expression. Hive has given me the opportunity to share my thoughts and ideas without fear. Hive has also given me the opportunity to meet many well meaningful individuals and they have become friends and family. We interact on daily basis and they have been supporting me willingly and guiding me and their constant guidance and willingness to teach and help me grow step by step has made my experience on Hive more meaningful. I mean who would want to leave such an environment.

Another reason that keeps me motivated on Hive is The reward system. I spent years in the past engaging on other social media platforms, posting, commenting, and interacting with people just because my page is not Monitized and I don't have the number of followers that was expected of me, no rewards no return for me. But with Hive the story is different, I feel valued and encouraged to do more because my every effort is recognised and rewarded no matter how small.

Here comes the most important reason why I stayed and will continue to stay here on Hive, the learning and growth. I often say that Hive is the higher institution I never attended. Being here on Hive has helped me discover abilities and potentials within myself that I never knew existed. Hive has shaped me, hive has improved my skills, I can confidently tell you for free that hive has brought out a better version of me.

I earlier said that Hive is not just a platform but a second home to me. The community, the rewards, the freedom to express myself, the opportunity for learning and growth, all these has kept me here on Hive. What about you? What has kept you here on Hive ?
