The contest is back Get ready -💖 What Do You Love Doing the Most? Tell Us & Win!
There are many things that we love to do in our day to day life. It can be something good as well as bad, the list goes on and on. I love playing games on my laptop, I love playing different sports, I love watching movies, and I love a lot many things but here I have to select something I love the most.
I think It was not so difficult to decide and I can easily pick and say that I love spending time with my son. That is the best thing in my life that I do almost every day. I see a lot of parents around myself who give very less time to their kids though they deserve the most of our time.
I play with toys that my son have, I cook food and my son is with me even at that time, I play games on laptop and sometimes he is with me even at that time, and I love his presence all the time. Only when I am working I ask him to not disturb be and he understand me really well even though he is just 2 y/o.
I will like to recommend this to all the people here, those who are still bachelors can do it in future and those who are already a parent can start doing it already in case they are not doing it. I will tell you why it is important to spend a lot of time with your kids.
When you spend time with them you learn about them, you get to know what is going on in their mind. I will share a incident which will help you all understand why spending time with your son also helps your kid be a good human being in future.
One day my son was showing the middle finger to another kid who visited my house. We immediately noticed that and I was literally in shock. So many things were going on in my mind and then I asked my son to come with me to the room. I sat with him and started talking to him for few minutes.
I know a 2 year old can not learn this thing on his own and so in between our conversation I asked him, that who taught him to show that finger to others. I was really angry but I was trying to be calm as my son is just 2 years old and I know it is not his fault for sure.
After asking him few times he took a name of one of the boy who often visits my home. He is my Aunt's son and he is quite older than my son. I think he is 10 or 11 years old and so my son took his name. I was furious and I decided to give that boy the best lesson of his entire life but my wife asked me to calm down.
First we both talked to our son and told him that it is a bad habit to show this finger to anyone. We told him that god don't like these habits and the shaitan (evil) loves when kids do this. My son understood it very well because we have taught him about good and evil, God and Satan.
Later in few days we also counsel that boy who taught this to our son. He was embarrassed but it was our duty to guide him as well. There are many more reasons but I think for this blog, my example was enough to motivate readers to do what I said I love to do.
